CBP Nabs 83-Year-Old Fugitive At Progreso Port Of Entry After NCIC Hit

CBP officers at the Progreso International Bridge referred an 83-year-old U.S. citizen to secondary inspection on Oct. 15, where biometric/NCIC checks confirmed an outstanding Hidalgo County felony warrant for indecency with a child. The man, identified as Richard William Patch, was turned over to Alamo Police for transport and adjudication. CBP highlighted the role of NCIC in flagging fugitives and noted that all charges are allegations until proven in court.
