CBP SEIZES 186 POUNDS OF COCAINE AT CALEXICO PORT; HSI TAKES CASE, DRIVER’S VISA CANCELED

CBP officers at the Calexico East Port of Entry used X-ray imaging, a K9 alert, and a physical inspection to uncover nearly 186 pounds of cocaine hidden in a car hauler trailer on Sept. 17, 2025. Homeland Security Investigations assumed the case for federal prosecution; the driver was arrested and his visa was canceled. The tractor and trailer were seized as evidence.
