CBP Seizes Nearly 43 Lbs Of Cocaine At Los Indios Bridge; HSI Arrests Driver Amid Texas Port Bust Cluster

CBP officers at the Los Indios International Bridge in Brownsville seized 19 packages totaling 42.85 pounds of cocaine hidden in a 2011 Honda during an Aug. 14 secondary inspection. A canine team and nonintrusive inspection system flagged the vehicle; CBP seized the narcotics and car, and HSI arrested the 32-year-old U.S. citizen driver. The case aligns with a recent cluster of mid-sized vehicle-based drug seizures at Texas ports of entry.
