Libyan Coast Guard Chase Leaves 1 Dead; Survivors Forced Back To Libya
Sea-Watch says a Libyan coast guard patrol chased a dinghy with about 30 people in the central Mediterranean, causing four to fall overboard; one drowned, captured on video by the NGO’s plane. A merchant ship rescued three, and survivors were later transferred to Libyan patrol boats and returned to Libya.
