POLL: Voters Split On Trump Deportations; 46% Say 'Too Harsh,' 48% Back ICE Crackdown
A Center Square/Noble Predictive Insights poll (Oct. 2–6, n=2,565) finds 46% of registered voters say Trump’s immigration and deportation policies are too harsh, 39% say about right, and 9% say too soft—leaving 48% at least generally supportive. Roughly a quarter rank illegal immigration among their top concerns. The survey shows sharp partisan and demographic splits, with Republicans largely supportive and many independents and minority voters calling the policies too harsh.
