CBI, FBI Probe After Federal Agent Throws 57-Year-Old To Ground At Durango ICE Protest

Video shows an unidentified federal agent grabbing protester Franci Stagi, 57, placing her in a chokehold and throwing her to the ground outside the Durango ICE office on Oct. 28, prompting a Colorado Bureau of Investigation probe requested by the local police chief. CBI will present findings to the 6th Judicial District Attorney for potential charges. Because the incident occurred on federal property, the FBI is also reviewing. The confrontation followed protests after ICE detained a father and two children.
