CBP At Progreso Port Of Entry Nabs Fugitive Wanted For Child-Sex Crime; Third South Texas POE Arrest In Weeks

CBP officers at the Progreso International Bridge sent a 49-year-old U.S. citizen to secondary on Aug. 23, where biometric NCIC checks confirmed a felony warrant for indecency with a child. The man was turned over to Alton Police Department. The case is part of a recent cluster of South Texas port arrests where CBP identified fugitives wanted for sexual offenses against children via biometric checks.
