CBP Biometrics Flag INTERPOL Red Notice Murder Suspect At Buffalo Peace Bridge; ICE Detains For Removal
CBP officers at the Port of Buffalo used biometric verification to identify a 22-year-old Indian national as an INTERPOL Red Notice subject wanted for murder. The traveler, who previously entered the U.S. illegally and missed an asylum interview, was found using a false identity during secondary inspection. He was processed by CBP and turned over to ICE/ERO, which is holding him at the Batavia Federal Detention Facility pending removal proceedings.
