CBP SEIZES $1.1 MILLION IN FENTANYL AND COCAINE AT ANZALDUAS

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Anzalduas International Bridge successfully seized over $1.1 million worth of fentanyl and cocaine. The interdiction involved a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 that was referred for secondary inspection, leading to a canine alert and the discovery of concealed narcotics within bike rollers. In total, 24 packages containing 33.68 pounds of fentanyl and 25.48 pounds of cocaine were confiscated. This significant seizure highlights CBP's ongoing efforts to secure the border and prevent illicit drugs from entering communities. Homeland Security Investigations has launched a criminal inquiry into the incident.
