Dodgers Pledge $1M As ICE Raids Sweep Los Angeles; 1,000 Families To Get Cash Relief

USA TODAY reports the Los Angeles Dodgers will route a $1 million pledge through the California Community Foundation to provide $1,000 cash cards to 1,000 immigrant families affected by recent ICE raids. The donation follows weeks of enforcement operations that DHS says led to more than 4,200 arrests in the LA area since June, as well as protests and criticism of the team’s initial silence. The CCF fund has attracted over $2.6 million from 200+ donors.
