Feds Charge Wisconsin Man Over TikTok Calls To ‘Shoot’ ICE Agents
Federal prosecutors charged Andrew Stanton, 38, of Kenosha, Wis., after TikTok videos urged violence against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, including statements like “It’s time we start shooting at you.” The FBI began monitoring his posts in late August; he allegedly sent threats and a violent meme to a CBP supervisor. Stanton was arrested Oct. 8, pleaded not guilty in federal court, and faces counts of threatening a U.S. official, interstate threats, and stalking carrying up to 20 years in prison.
