Vilma Noemi Aparicio-Deras, 28, was temporarily released by a federal judge after attorneys alleged she was denied necessary post-surgical care while detained following an ICE raid. Arrested Aug. 23 at a car wash where she worked, she had recently undergone kidney stone surgery and was prescribed antibiotics and a stent removal follow-up she did not receive while in custody.
