HSI Kansas City Hosts 15-Nation Delegation To Combat Transnational Crime And Illegal Immigration

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Kansas City hosted a delegation of young European leaders from more than 15 nations through the State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program to discuss combating transnational crime and illegal immigration. Delegates received briefings on dismantling criminal networks involved in human smuggling and trafficking, as well as on innovative investigative strategies and interagency collaboration. HSI leaders emphasized the role of U.S. law enforcement in shaping effective policy responses and strengthening international partnerships. The visit, implemented locally by Global Ties KC, aimed to foster cross-cultural collaboration and to expose rising leaders to U.S. homeland security operations.
