ICE, CBP RETREAT IN ROCHESTER AS 100+ PROTESTERS SLASH TIRES AND BLOCK REMOVALS IN SANCTUARY CITY

ICE, CBP and other federal agents attempted a removal operation at a Rochester, N.Y., residential job site, detaining one worker as others stayed on a roof. More than 100 protesters gathered; a CBP vehicle’s tires were reportedly slashed, and agents left after a four-hour standoff without additional arrests. The city recently codified a sanctuary policy; federal agencies have not yet commented.
