ICE Detains Trump Burger Owner Over Visa Overstay; Released On Bond In Texas

USA TODAY confirms ICE detained Roland Beainy, founder of the Trump-themed Texas chain Trump Burger, for overstaying a visitor visa. Court records show he was arrested May 16, 2025, and an immigration judge ordered his release on bond on June 13 while proceedings continue. ICE said it enforces immigration laws regardless of a person’s business or political views. Beainy has not been deported as of publication.
