ICE Detains Two Durango Students And Parent En Route To School; Protest Erupts Over Juvenile Protocols

Dozens protested at ICE’s Durango field office after agents reportedly detained two minors and a parent on their way to school. Advocates say the family’s asylum case is active despite a recent work-permit denial later deemed an error by USCIS. Protesters alleged the children were brought in handcuffs and raised Flores Settlement compliance concerns after confusion over ICE’s juvenile coordinator.
