ICE, FBI Nab 65 In Connecticut 4-Day Sweep: 'Operation Broken Trust' Targets Alleged Criminals In 'Sanctuary' Showdown

ICE and federal partners including the FBI, U.S. Marshals, DEA and ATF arrested 65 people in Connecticut during a four-day operation dubbed 'Operation Broken Trust.' ICE says 29 had U.S. convictions or charges for serious offenses. The sweep followed DOJ’s designation of Connecticut as a 'sanctuary' jurisdiction, drawing sharp pushback from Gov. Ned Lamont’s office.
