Bay Area Day Of The Dead Vigil Names 25 Dead In ICE Custody As Scrutiny Mounts

Dozens gathered in Concord, California, for a Day of the Dead vigil naming 25 people who died in ICE detention this year. Organized by Indivisible ReSisters Contra Costa and Detention Watch Network as part of the national Communities Not Cages day of action, the event highlighted concerns about detention conditions and urged changes to enforcement.
