A TikTok streamer was shot by an ICE agent during an immigration enforcement operation in South Los Angeles and has been charged with assault on a federal officer. Authorities say Carlitos Ricardo Parias, 44, allegedly rammed his Toyota Camry into law enforcement vehicles after agents boxed him in while attempting to arrest him on an administrative immigration warrant. Video shows agents speaking Spanish as officers pulled Parias from the car and he cried that he had been shot; his attorney said family and counsel were initially denied access at the hospital. The federal complaint and court appearance come amid heightened enforcement actions and scrutiny over arrest tactics and use of force.
