ICE To Open 24/7 Nashville Call Center To Track Unaccompanied Migrant Children
ICE plans a 24/7 call center in Nashville to collect tips—primarily from state and local police—aimed at locating unaccompanied migrant children and other immigration violators. A contracting document says the facility could process 6,000–7,000 calls per day and feed location data to federal authorities, aligning with a broader Trump administration initiative to find and potentially deport minors who crossed the border alone. The effort builds on expanded 287(g) partnerships and coincides with CoreCivic’s Nashville presence. DHS, ICE and CoreCivic did not immediately comment.
