PORTLAND ICE CLASH: WOMAN BUSTED 'RED-HANDED,' ACCUSED OF PUNCHING FED OFFICER — 30 ARRESTS SINCE JUNE
Federal Protective Service and U.S. Border Patrol officers arrested Katherine Meagan Vogel outside Portland’s ICE facility after red paint was dumped on the property. Prosecutors say surveillance showed her with paint-covered hands; she’s also accused of punching an officer during the arrest. A judge released her pending trial with a stay-away order. She is one of roughly 30 people charged in federal encounters at the South Bancroft ICE site since June.
