Portland Man Indicted For Felony After Damaging Security Cameras At South Portland ICE Facility

A federal grand jury indicted 20-year-old Portland resident Alistair Sidener for allegedly damaging security cameras at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in South Portland on June 12, 2025. Prosecutors say the damage exceeded $1,000, elevating the offense to depredation of federal property, a felony carrying up to 10 years in prison. Sidener appeared in federal court and was released pending further proceedings.
