STATE DEPT TO REVOKE COLOMBIAN PRESIDENT PETRO'S U.S. VISA AFTER 'RECKLESS' NYC REMARKS

The State Department says it will revoke Colombian President Gustavo Petro’s U.S. visa after he urged American soldiers in New York to disobey orders, calling his remarks “reckless and incendiary.” Petro made the comments while addressing a pro‑Palestinian crowd outside the U.N. during UNGA. His office and Colombia’s foreign ministry did not immediately comment.
