42 MIGRANTS PRESUMED DEAD IN LIBYA SHIPWRECK AS CENTRAL MED DEATHS SURGE IN 2025
IOM says a rubber boat that left Zuwara, Libya, capsized on Nov. 3, leaving at least 42 people missing and presumed dead. Seven survivors were rescued near the al-Buri Oil Field after six days at sea. The incident adds to more than 1,000 migrant deaths in the Central Mediterranean this year, over 500 off Libya.
