Ireland’s Independent Ireland TD Ken O’Flynn cites HSE PCRS data showing more than €92m spent since 2022 on medical cards for Ukrainians under the Temporary Protection scheme, and calls for an immediate clampdown. Over 114,000 Ukrainians have received temporary protection since March 2022, with an estimated 80,000 still in Ireland.
