Montenegro Suspends Visa-Free For Turks, Detains Dozens; 8 Ordered Deported After Podgorica Violence
Following weekend violence in Podgorica, Montenegro detained two suspects in a stabbing and an additional 45 Turkish and Azeri nationals over residency checks, fining seven and ordering eight deportations. The government will temporarily suspend visa-free travel for Turkish citizens and seek talks with Ankara on future arrangements.
