2 VENEZUELAN MIGRANT TEENS CHARGED IN CHICAGO LOOP MURDER OF HOMELESS MAN

Prosecutors say two Venezuelan migrant juveniles, ages 14 and 16, were charged after an early-morning attack in Chicago’s Loop that killed 49-year-old Bradley Obeirne. A detention proffer cites surveillance video showing one teen kicking the victim while another struck him with a metal rod; a third 14-year-old was charged with robbery. One defendant reportedly had prior law enforcement contact in Texas in 2023. A judge ordered the 16-year-old held pending trial.
