ICE Orders Macomb County Mom Deported In 48 Hours; Caregiver Set For DTW Flight

ICE ERO denied a stay of removal for Irina Sobierajska, a Polish national who has lived in Michigan nearly 20 years and is the primary caregiver for her ailing husband. She has 48 hours before a scheduled deportation flight from Detroit Metro Airport. ICE says a 2014 removal order remains in effect after multiple appeals were exhausted.
