DOJ Urges Supreme Court To Let LA ICE Raids Proceed, Lift Judge’s Limits On Stops

The Justice Department filed an emergency application asking the Supreme Court to pause a Central District of California injunction that restricts Los Angeles–area immigration stops. The filing argues the district’s large undocumented population and recent raids justify continued enforcement free from limits imposed by Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong.
