FEDS SEEK PLEA DEAL IN CASE AGAINST WISCONSIN JUDGE ACCUSED OF HELPING MIGRANT DODGE ICE
Interim U.S. Attorney Brad Schimel says plea talks are underway with Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan, charged with obstruction and concealing an individual after she allegedly helped a migrant exit her courtroom while ICE waited. The migrant, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, was later caught and deported. Dugan denies wrongdoing and is set for a Dec. 15 trial; the case has become a flashpoint in the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement push.
