TREASURY SETS 0.06% INTEREST ON ICE CASH BONDS FOR Q1 2022

Treasury set the quarterly interest rate on cash deposited to secure ICE immigration bonds at 0.06% for Jan–Mar 2022, pursuant to 8 U.S.C. 1363 and 8 CFR 293.2. The rate is determined each quarter based on 91-day T-bill yields, capped at 3% and not less than zero. The notice provides methodology, applicability dates, and references TreasuryDirect’s Table 2b for current rates.
