USCIS filed a 30‑day notice to add six biographic and employment identifiers to major immigration forms (including N‑400, I‑485, I‑589) to meet Executive Order 14161’s expanded vetting standards. New fields include applicant and family SSNs, employer names and addresses for the past five years, and business FEINs. USCIS estimates 6.95 million annual burden hours. Public comments are open through October 31, 2025.
