USDA CHIEF CLAIMS 700,000 REMOVED FROM SNAP; 118 ARRESTS IN IMMIGRATION BENEFITS CRACKDOWN

USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins told Fox & Friends Weekend that a February 2025 state data request and a Department of Government Efficiency review identified widespread improper SNAP/EBT use tied to immigration scrutiny. Rollins said nearly 700,000 people have been removed from SNAP since the president took office and about 118 arrests made, while multiple Democratic-led states sued over privacy and funding issues during the shutdown. Federal judges ordered contingency funding to continue benefits. Rollins pledged major reforms and cited duplicate and deceased beneficiaries.
